Built in the 1930’s, “Willa Marysin” in Bukowina Tatrzańska underwent major restoration in 2004-2005. It was transformed into a modern bording-house that complies with all the EU requirements including safety and environmental protection, without losing the character and charm of the traditional regional architecture.
“Willa Marysin” offers 12 comfortable self-contained apartments varying in size, each of which includes at least one bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a living room connected to a well-equipped compact kitchen giving you the option of preparing your own meals at any time.
Each apartment has access to the internet (cable or wireless), satellite television and telephone. There is special storage space for your skis, snowboards and other sports equipment.
It is the only building in the vicinity to have a lift –a feature necessary for the disabled, and much appreciated by tourists and skiers.
There is a large guarded outside parking area by the building. The safety of our guests and their possessions is ensured 24/7 by our staff and the services of a protection agency.
At a height of 997 meters above sea-level, Willa Marysin is the last building in the direction of Łysa Polana, bordering the Tatra National Park.
On request, we organize for our guests local attraction activities such as sleigh riding, guided excursions, etc… We also offer integration facilities for companies.
Bukowina Tatrzańska has a unique climate; it is covered with snow from December to March and , in higher areas, until the end of April.
Since 2004 (when Poland became a member of the EU) Bukowina has been developing at a remarkable pace, in some instances outdistancing Zakopane. Currently in Bukowina Tatrzańska, Białka Tatrzańska and Jurgow, there are over 40 ski-lifts and ski lift chairs – more are being installed.
Terma Bukowina, consisting of 12 pools of warm water – the largest of its kind in the region – is situated about 800 meters from Willa Marysin.
Bukowina Tatrzańska is an attraction not only during the winter sports season: the region offers wonderful tourist trails in the Tatra National Park – it’s worth knowing that Tatry Wysokie, Rysy, Dolina Pięciu Stawów and Morskie Oko are all within the Bukowina Tatrzayńska District. Special bicycle paths cross the district, and rafting is popular on the Białka River. Regional folklore events take place all year around, the most renowned of which is the Sabałowe Bajania in August and the Karnawał Góralski in January.
The Pieniny and Gorce mountains are adjacent to the Bukowina Tatrzańska District, and it is only 8 km to the Slovakian Spisz and further on to Orawa and Hungary.
Thanks to its altitude, there is no flood risk whatsoever in Bukowina.
